35 years into their recording career KISS has just scored the highest charting album of their career.
Their new album, Sonic Boom, will enter the Billboard charts at #2, one place higher than their previous high charting album, 1998's Psycho Circus. (Previous to that their highest charting album was 1977's Love Gun at #4.)
Their tour has been very well attended as well, and they are now on the list of nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (and even though the HOF is a bit of a joke thanks to the people doing the nominating and the voting, it's still a fairly big honor).
Who would have thought that in 2009 that KISS would be riding this high?
