Thanks so much for this page. I could not be there but am very interested in the proceedings. You have an amazing collection of Ronnie's work through the years. Thanks to you I now have more to remember him by.
Here's a clip from Ronnie's final show ever. Man, he still sounded great - even though he already had the cancer at this point. Simply amazing. Clearly, Ronnie still had a lot to contribute, and the ability to do it better than almost anyone else (and at the age of 67 no less)!
That concert sure would make a nice addition to a KISSology type live DVD set.
As hard as it is to believe it's been one year since Ronnie died.
In some ways it seems like it's only been a few months, but in others it feels like it's been years. Ronnie was a great guy. Forget the fact that he was a true giant in the world of Rock and Roll, he was a great guy who helped a lot of people over the years.
I don't think I'll ever get over the loss of the one man who more than any other represented the world of Heavy Metal in an intelligent, articulate, thoughtful way.
He is missed as much now as he was on May 16, 2010.
