In King's X you're talking about a band with uncompromising originality and creativity. King's X took elements from several different Rock sub genres and created something new and exciting.
Too new - too different. Radio guys didn't know what to make of them. Atlantic Records didn't know how to promote them.
But the band kept plugging along and released a string of phenomenal albums. They still put out albums every few years, but they aren't quite what they were from their mid 80's to mid 90's creative peak.

I could go on for another 10 or 15 tracks and still only scratch the surface of just how great King's X was (and is still capable of being).
If you don't have any King's X in your collection I highly recommend picking up Dogman and Gretchen Goes to Nebraska asap.
