Worst band I ever saw/heard live was the Smashing Pumpkins.
They were AWFUL!!! The first two songs were ok, but then everything was one long whiny drone - especially the squealy sound effect covered guitar, "Solos." Just terrible. No charisma, nothing all that musical - it was just noise for 50 minutes. Annoying as hell.

I'd say Blink 182 blows pretty bad. Matchbox 20 too. "Worst" is a pretty subjective term, though. I used to like the Eagles and Creedence, but now I think they're both pretty bad, esp. CCR.
